PlumbingCalc Online operates on an impervious privacy architecture. 100% of all plumbing calculations, pipe run dimensions, fuel tariff inputs, and diagnostic results execute purely in your local web browser. We never log, store, or transmit your household dimensions or diagnostic queries to external servers.
1. Local Client-Side Execution Guarantee
When you enter groundwater temperatures, shower counts, or pipe pitch dimensions into our tools, all mathematical computations are processed instantly via client-side JavaScript on your personal device.
Zero data packets containing your calculation parameters are transmitted to any central database or cloud analytics service. If you disconnect your internet connection entirely, our calculators remain 100% functional.
2. Session History & LocalStorage Architecture
The optional Calculation Tape scratchpad stores recent results exclusively within your browser's local sandbox (window.localStorage). This data remains on your physical hardware.
You can permanently purge this data at any moment by clicking the "Clear" button on the tape drawer or by clearing your browser cache. We have zero programmatic access to your local scratchpad entries.
3. GDPR, CCPA & CPRA Statutory Compliance
We adhere strictly to the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). Because we do not collect personal identifiers, email addresses, IP logs, or physical property addresses, there is zero consumer data to sell, broker, or monetize.
We do not deploy invasive cross-site tracking pixels, biometric fingerprinting scripts, or third-party behavioral advertising cookies.
4. Deep-Link URL Parameter Sharing
When you adjust tool parameters, our calculators update the URL query string (such as ?d=2.0&l=20) using history.replaceState. This allows you to bookmark or email exact calculation scenarios.
These parameters represent technical numbers only and contain zero personally identifiable information (PII). Sharing a generated link shares only the mathematical inputs you configured.
